Summer Driver’s Education Classes-2019

East Burke High School-June 17-20
Freedom High School-June 24-27
Draughn High School-July 8-11
Patton High School-July 8-11
The classroom portion of Driver’s Education consists of 30 hours. (Please bring paper and pencil/pen to class.) In addition to these 30 hours, students will also receive 6 hours of in the car supervision/driving.

There are several things you need to keep in mind:
1. Students must attend class every day (NO absences are allowed)
2. Students must be in class for the entire time (NO Tardies) - Class Times: 8:00-3:30
3. Students must provide their own transportation to and from class.
4. Students will need to be picked up promptly at 3:30 each afternoon.
5. Students will need to bring a bag lunch as well as snack items each day. There will be no cafeteria service and students will not be permitted to leave school for lunch. Students may bring money for snacks.
6. Students must pay the $65 fee before they receive their driver’s education certificate. (Make checks payable to the high school where the driver’s education course is taken.)
